Adding insult to injury.  Also, a vapid thing I noticed: that bowtie/haircut/glasses combo IS BLOWING MY MIND. Amazing. Ah-mah-zing. Look at this peacoat tell me he broke. (Am I bad person for noticing these things in such an emotional post?) Maybe getting people to notice how he chooses to express himself without words after hearing such hellish ones was the whole point of such a project. I think it might be. All I l know for sure though is when it comes to photos, this one is pretty much as close to perfect as human gets. I mean even the look on his face sort of says everything I could add and then some.

More than Violet by Julia Pierone

Here’s a post about what has to be one of my favorite photography concepts to date. As some blogger with the awesome last name (or pen name) of Goodspeed spelled it out:

hair twirling and lip pursing and awkward hand movements and strange hair accessories… something about these girls just sent me back to 8th grade math class, and I couldn’t help but share that.
