Gnarls Barkley covers Band of Horses (?!)
When I saw this, I thought “oh yes. Oh hell yes.”
Cee-Lo does a take on the band’s gorgeous “No One’s Gonna Love You.” I actually find the backing track distracting — it’s way too upbeat for such a mournful song. Cee-Lo still has some amazing pipes, though.
It’s everything I wanted after loving Gnarles Barkley cover “Gone Daddy Gone” by the Violent Femmes. Band of Horses new album has some great moments too. It’s been on repeat in my car for the past few weeks. Basically, this video made my day.
